I want 6 1/2"inch car front window bluetooth speakers its be only bluethooth speakers is this types of speakers avail in markets
No one has ever complained of the existence of a speaker in a car, in my opinion, speakers, like the Bowers & Wilkins in BMWs enhance the looks of an interior. There have been flat speakers around for years, but putting speakers behind panels or making panels speakers, by virtue of pure physics, can sound as good, and let's not even talk about rattling. Finally, there is no way to create real bass from a sub without power and the ability to move air. We need better engineering in car environments to get audiophile sound, not more visual engineering to create less definition and range
Cooley should just stick to car stuff. It's obvious from this video that he doesn't know much about audio.
To have a great imaging Soundstage a does engineers who knows about high end audio who can make a speaker disappear in car audio
Better than speakers !?
I like how you show aftermarket multi subwoofer, custom fiberglass door panels systems to complain about speakers take up too much room… factory speakers dont take up any room thats not already wasted space. Inside the door, what else you planning to put in there? in the sail panel, its already hiding bolts for the mirror, what you planning to do with that space? Flat speakers have been around for ages.. Magnepan has been building them since the early 70s. The truth is, no one is complaining that their speakers take up too much space unless they installed four 12 inch subs in their hatchback… but those people chose to put the speakers back there, not the factory.
Dumb comment, Interior wise there really aren’t that many more things more important then your stereo system. That is of course with respect to the Amenities you expect. Gotta love when they throwout comments just for the sake of having something to say…. it’s below you Mr. Cooley… your great but hope this doesn’t become a trend.
Rather have my speakers like the way they look
I remember seeing this about a year ago and first thoughts:
Completely idiotic concept.
Just the idea of a vehicle( a loud environment to begin with) is trying to use panels to replace cones is just awful.
It won’t sound nearly as nice as a firmly planted driver, especially when the vehicle is moving, any and I mean ANY road noise will ruin fidelity and just nullify the whole set up.
Neodymium magnet speakers will save weight, and that weight loss is more of a factor in fuel savings than the amount of power each speaker draws.
One is the sound quality better be much better than stock speakers today.
Right cause there is absolutely nothing else in a car that will start vibrating as you start the engine and pull away from the curb 😉
This is ridiculous and good luck finding a car audio installer who will hook you up with a new system one Saturday morning while you hang out at the mall. By midday, they might have the seats, carpet and most of the door linings in a neat pile next to your car – then they can start looking for the existing speakers ……
Can you do a segment on the best OnStar-like systems automakers are using today? OnStar is easy to use, but other systems seem really complicated.
I don't care for music in my cars. Never turn the radio on. BTW, FJ Cruiser? I thought they stopped making those?
Those are already out there. And use very little space. A bass shaker hides under the seats. Tactile exciters can go anywhere. Get creative. Great sound quality and no new invention.
So basically bass shakers and tactile exciters
I"m low on gas babe, turn the volume down. LOL
I would never buy a car with this crap in it I like standard speakers easy to replace or upgrade to whatever brand I want..
This is never going to work. Brand new car – cool – nice, pretty neat – all hidden. 3,5,10 years down the road – what part in these cars will NOT creak, moan, snap, pop, rattle!?????
Nothin' bumps like a 12" .
The problem with this is it will sound like crap or best case simply nowhere near as good. There's a reason this technology never caught on despite being decades old. This really isn't anything new. I'm totally ok with hidden subs though, that makes perfect sense.
Too many people have become use to listening to music compressed flater than pancakes as perfectly acceptable. Sounds like bull shit to me. Some don't even know what good audio sounds like. Heaven help us.
Great proprietary stuff I cant fix if I need to.
Great except it'll sound s h i t
Sony allready invented this tech and they use it on theire flagship OLED tvs, the front glass/painel of the tv is the speacker. However, they say that its a lifestyle audio solution for saving space so they can have the minimalist design on the tv, for true audio quality we have allways to go with quality amplifiers and speackers.. In cars i dont think this tech will be usefull..
Good audio systems cost money. If you don’t listen to them, you can’t understand why they’re necessary in luxury cars. People who appreciate their values usually don’t give a shit on fuel economy. Thank you.
Get the best sound treatment available and enjoy a much better experience at a lower volume using less energy before changing any of your audio hardware.
Trying to sell us some bullshit sir? My doorhandle is not meant to make noise… kids today think that a phone speaker can sound awesome so I guess its nice for them.. but everyone who knows a bit about accoustics laughs at this nonsense
