Day in the Life of a Japanese Home Builder digital marketing in japan

by adminDianeAshleyBooks

A day in the life of a Japanese construction worker building a house in Japan. Constructing Japanese homes in Tokyo can be a complicated process, so it’s common for Japanese living in Tokyo and Japanese living in Japan to ask a professional home building company like like Daiwa House to help manage and construct their home. We follow Yuya from morning until evening and throughout his workday to show the Japanese working culture and construction culture in Japan. Construction workers in Japan have their own unique routines and process when building a house in Japan and Japan is also ranked 4th in the world for having earthquakes so earthquake resistant building construction laws have been in place since 1924 and have been updated over the years, such as the shin-taishin standard, requiring that all buildings must be able to withstand a stage 6 seismic event on Japan’s 7-stage seismic scale. Yuya is a Ni-Kyu Kenchikushi, a prefecture license c ertified second-class architect which allows him to manage small housing construction. A first class license would allow for larger construction projects such as olympic stadiums but would require passing a national qualifying exam available to four year university graduates with a minimum 2 years of practical building related experience, where only about 10% of the applicants are able to pass. Yuya has been working with the company for about 3 years now and his entire first year was spent training with 1000 other new grad employees who were all hired at the same time In Japan, it’s typical for large companies to hire new grads in a batch usually in April to align with Japan’s standardized school schedule. This is the way. Working in health in the west is driving me crazy because standards are so random and lapsodaisical.

7:35 the problem with digital building inspector checklist app is that it can be hacked and tampered to cause building problems even collapse, ideally, use both digital and paper checklist and write timestamp next to checkboxes when you red tick on the checkboxes? It’s a hassle to double entry paper and digital checklist, so use body harness to wear body video camera (8K) with ball bearing to rotate video camera to record the inspector writing on the paper checklist (water damage, lost, theft on paper checklist), another method is to custom build a folder box with handle that is waterproof with mountain bicycle drop vibration resistant. When the folder box opens, the "periscope head" like video camera auto spring pops up with the lenses gazing at the paper in the folder box and start video recording everything that is written on the paper in the folder box and LTE (inbuilt data sim card), send to two servers (one backup drive), when folder box is closed, stop recording. When folder box is low battery, there will be flashing red light when it is next open, which can connect to any portable battery to charge and record at same time. Since folder box linked to phone app via LTE, the app can notify user ahead if battery level is low e.g. below 50%. Use for other applications, even in policing.

3:40 construction worker morning group warm up, stretching, close eyes to silently think about familia, which help them to keep safe, and they use finger movement to point at each other to check that their uniform and safety gear are in order. The interesting thing in individualistic societies, is its geared to reduce the male populations via direct and subtle ways which is in stark contrast to the communal societies. [ author insert near infinite counter-argument and counter-counter argument ] thesis on reasoning.

He wakes up at 5:15 am, goes to sleep at around 11:00 pm, that gives him maybe 6 hours of sleep, but is active from the moment he wakes up to the end of his shift for about 12 hours.

I've often read and heard about long work shifts in Japan. But I use the word "long" since I'm a foreigner, to them it's probably just normal shift times. Here in Canada the typical shift is 8 hours, although 9 to 10 hours is becoming more frequent in more places and domains, but the average is still about 8 to 8:30 hours shift (obviously though if the company allows it, and the worker wants to, it's possible to work up to 14 hours but it's not that common even if it's allowed; very few people would do that on the long term for more than a few months in a row, it can happen in retail work especially during the holidays 'rush' period though, between the first or second up to third week of December mostly).

I think a lot of countries actually are going through some phase where the 'typical' worker at retail places and factories work for longer shifts than they used to outside of Japan.

Backpack police here, he really needs to attach the front strap on his backpack and tighten both side straps more or he will demolish his back the way he wears that huge backpack currently.

It's soo much easier when the workers is well verse in writing.

Here in Malaysia it is difficult due to most of construction workers are foreigners with most of them don't even know how to write.

Japan takes safety of their people extremely serious. Also everything is documented wokers and construction safety standards. Building standards are strict. Pre-cut material for the job site makes for an efficient productive construction project. A lot countries should take notes because they set the bar really high.
