You always seem to bounce outside the realm of your premise. Wasn't it, "How much does you motherboard affect performance?" not What is the best board for cost? As far as the numbers, from what I can see, the Gigabyte Z590 UN seems to beat out the contenders on a more consistent basis. At least according to the numbers! But then again, I'm not a techy feely kind of guy. Maybe I'm just not aware of what those numbers mean or how to read them – although it should be obvious! Yep, I've even managed to confuse myself!

What happen if we use a i5 non k or a i3?
Well thats interesting. I personally use a b450m ds3h board from gigabyte and I overcame the clocking down by just locking my r7 3800X to 4.4GHz. But this leads to constant vrm temps above 100 or even 110°C. Does anyone know at least can reasonally explain if another board could still bear a reasonable performance uplift? And yes I am aware that locking the frequency isnt the smartest play, but my cpu basically never surpasses 70°C because of custom loop cooling. I still expect my board to die way sooner with the vrms running quite toasty all the time tho.
