Giving mmrca tender to france Dassault aviation rafle is good
Only with TOT and intellectual property rights of safron engine technology
Then only given contract that to in make in india
As Rafale is floating with order to deliver
So better to go with gripen as it as interested in TOT and intellectual property rights of engine technology
If iam wrong lost time in previous tender
SAAB wants to offer Gripen at half of Rafale cost, with full tech transfer, local production

New Delhi: As India looks to acquire 114 new medium multi-role combat aircraft (MMRCA) to shore up its depleting strength, Swedish defence major SAAB has pitched for a complete Transfer of Technology (TOT) and local production of its Gripen fighter jet at “half” the cost of French alternative Rafale.

Good decision by brbo to give for unmanned under water drone
Mostly go for IIT and NIT

Congratulations to IIT Bombay for sucessful demonstration of laser repair system of blade's

Why India need 30 MQ 98 deal
As it waste of money
Why can't is be done in make in india
Along with
Tamper proof software by third parties
Such TeamViewer type software for hacking into these systems and take remote control UAV over them
The USA must give necessary agreement in this issue
As it is matter of national security concern and human rights voltion

India need to;
1. Create more production lines for Tejas MK1A, MK2 as current rate of production is below minimus requirement. Abt 20-30 jets/ year should be able to produce with our production lines.
2. Give tendor for whichever company got near 5th gen aircraft and willing to produced under make in India. With Taiwan setting up semiconductor making facility in India, we should see if any way can substitute some components from our side which could reduce the production cost.
3. Navy should go for 25-36 F18 hornets as its war proven !
4. In case we opt for any aircraft other than Rafael we should join France for making more submarines (diesal/nuclear), and light weight tanks as we lack those in number. Even if we select rafael we should go for few submarines but not too many as Rafael + submarines will break bank 🙁
4. From Russia we need to get super sukhoi upgradation done sooner and target new mig-41 interceptors, S500 defense system..
5. US is most important country still coming to trade decisions and F15EX is a good fighter.. it will be cheaper than Rafael as well. Incase Rafael is out of budget, F15EX is not a bad choice for now. Actually we can even buy in split numbers like what Indonesia did. Buying few more than 114 wont hurt since numbers come in handy in an actual war. And as long as whatever we choose got a possible upgradation path to 5th, 6th gen..we should not worry getting a 4.5th gen.

the IAF should pursue Boeing for developing a stretched variant of the C-17B Globemaster III multi mission heavy lift transport aircraft . . . Boeing can expect to sell 130 – 150 units of stretched variant of the C-17 . . .

SUKHOI should outsource final development schedule of the 6th generation Su-75 Checkmate stealth multi role fighter to HAL & DRDO . . . this will expedite the process . . .

For nuclear delivery get Tu-95 and Tu-160M. Also buy 5-6 akula SSk and solve the immediate need(s). After all even the US is selling to UK under AUKUS. i heard that even France may join this group and it will be renamed FAUKUS

India should go for Rafael if they are willing to open a production line in India and maybe transfer of some technology , so that in mean time we develop our Tejas mk2 and AMCA

India must choose Saab Gripen or F/A18 Hornet due to India purchasing large number of same engines that powers those two fighter aircraft. After all Tejas mk2 will be power by American engines.

What does political clout have to do with purchasing/building fighter aircraft??? Not rich enough for the necessary level of bribery?

No professor needs to say It's all common sense Problem is money Kit assembly won't bring much economies of scale Full manufacturing will increase cost by 30% These are the dilemmas Larger number of orders for Dassault and if they assemble the S.East Asian orders in India, might help bringing down the cost of the aircraft overall BUT will likely be offset by the F-4 enhancements

Strategically and to fill the gap before the start of indigenously developed Indian fighter jets, it would be beneficial for INDIA to acquire more upgraded and highly sophisticated RAFALE Fighter jets. As INDIA has previously acquired 36 RAFALE fighters, there would be No Need to set up costly maintenance, eco-system, spares, servicing, and training costs, if another Country’s fighters were bought. Therefore, it would be cost effective, for INDIA to purchase additional RAFALE Fighters, and the additional advantages, besides being modern and Technically highly sophisticated advance, these Fighters has the potential to be upgraded when required in the future. This is Cost effective, and Viable option for INDIA’s short term and also for long term requirements.

ADE working on fufa, fufaji saying Bhai pehle Archer aur tapas ko to uda lo. This ADE is a joke. Shut down all drdo lab which are non performer. Mazak bana rakha hai. 6 months delay to itna casually karte hain, jaise koi 5 minute ka delay ho. 35 yrs mein fighter jet banaya jisme 50% imported hai, improved version abhi first flight bhi nahin liya, Jo 2024 mein hai. 420 ki limit hai.
